The RSEC field station in El Quseir is a young institution, which has the ambitious goal to provide biological and ecological education and information for tourists and divers at the Red Sea. The sensitization of our guests in terms of conservation and sustainability is our main objective.
On the other hand, our field station offers spaces and opportunities for volunteer students and others who are interested to get involved in marine biology and reef ecological issues. At the field station we offer volunteering stays which comprise our educational programmes, scientific studies or environmental projects. Additionally, here directly at the Red Sea we provide infrastructure for young scientists, who would like to collect data in the field in the scope of their diploma or master theses.
