General Information about the Field Station in Dahab:

We are pleased to announce the completion of our new office and work buildings at the Sinai Divers Backpackers located in the Masbat bay in Dahab. For our scientific guests we have an office room with 6 workspaces and internet connection. Furthermore, our reef biological courses and other events can be held in another big room or on the huge roof terrace, respectively, where our famous evening events, including scientific talks and film presentations will be a wonderful experience „under the stars“.

For the experimental work of our scientific guests we offer a wet table and we are planning to install a wet lab with aquariums and tanks. The new location of the field station inside the Masbat bay is ideal for reef biological work since we now have different habitats like sandy bottom, seagrass beds, algae zone, patch reef and fringing reef in front of our doorstep. Many entries to the sea are in walking distance and two of them are situated directly in front of our dive center.
