What we do

The RSEC offers at his field stations the required infrastructure, scientific and logistic support and consultancy for Master students, PhD students, Universities and established scientists. The RSEC offers several reef biological courses and seminars for recreational divers, school groups and any other interested person, which can last from 1 h to 2 weeks. The RSEC itself plans and conducts scientific and nature conservation projects and volunteers are welcome to do work on these projects under supervision, thereby participating in the protection of the coral reefs and learning about reef biology.

Whom we collaborate with

In the Sinai we cooperate closely with Sinai Divers Diving Centers. In El-Quesir we cooperate with Waterworld Diving Centers. Academic we collaborate with several european universities and institutions. In addition we work hand in hand on scientific and nature conservation activities together with the National Park of Egypt (managed by NCS/EEAA; Egyptian environmental offices), with Reef Check Europe and Egypt and with regional NGOs (SSDM, RSDASS). Further international co-operations are desired.
